In its publication "Getting Advice", the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC) suggests you;

He is a member of the Self Managed Super Fund Professionals Association of Australia (SPAA) and holds the SPAA "SMSF Specialist Advisor" qualification. This qualification requires David to meet minimum ongoing educational requirements, which you can read within the SPAA website. 2. "take the time to find the best person for your needs" We believe the best financial planning business for your needs will;

If you are over age 50, we believe our knowledge of the issues that are important to you, will help you achieve your objectives. Furthermore, we believe we will continue to meet your needs, long after your investments have been implemented. 3. "make sure the advice suits you and offers value for money" Our advice will be customised to your specific situation, using clear and easy to understand language. At 50Plus, we prefer to be rewarded for providing an ongoing service and will rarely charge you an upfront fee/commission. We believe our fee structure is a clear statement to our clients that our priority is in developing long term relationships. |
