Do new clients need to have a minimum amount to invest?

Yes. The 50Plus Business Model has a strong emphasis on maintaining client numbers at manageable levels (in order to maintain minimum service standards). In order to achieve this, new clients are required to have a minimum of $250,000 in investible funds.

Will your financial planners conduct meetings with clients at their own premises/home?

Yes. In many cases, we meet with clients at their premises however; most of our clients have a preference for meeting at our offices.

Does your service extend to investors who are under the age of 50?

Yes. We have many clients who are under age 50 however, our area of specialisation is focused on strategies for people who are approaching retirement, or have retired. An exception to this exists where we are looking after the children of our clients (typically, adult children) - where we will provide a complete financial planning service. This service will generally be expanded to include wealth creation strategies as well as insurance planning - including income protection. 

Do you charge up front fees or commissions?

No - our fee structure comprises an Adviser Service Fee and an Administration Fee only.

This means you will never be charged for any meetings, nor will you be charged for the preparation of any documentation (including your Statement of Advice) or for the implementation of your financial plan. Are your fees negotiable?

Yes. Our fees are negotiable if your portfolio under advice is greater than $1m. Where we choose to reduce our fees, we will tell you in writing.

I don't live in the area you service - is this a problem?

No. We have a number of clients outside our service area. Please call our office to discuss your specific situation.
